The folks at radaronline.com have gone above and beyond and infiltrated the set of Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides to bring us some photos.

None of them have significant production value or give anything away. But feeling like we're all visiting the set is a good time!

And, the big prize is that Penelope Cruz is finally spotted on set in her Pirate digs.

Again, I wish they were clearer photos of just her, but those will come. High fives to the radar team for what they were able to get.

Word from Comic Con today is that Disney showed a teaser for Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides during their panel.

However, I can't yet find any video of the Captain Jack Sparrow introduced piece. And that makes me sad.

But I do have this clip from the set of Pirates IV to tide us all over until the clip we really want can be found.

Pirates Of The Caribbean: On Stranger Tides - New Johnny Depp Photo!

Disney and Jerry Bruckhemier have released a new photo of Johnny Depp as Captain Jack Sparrow on the beach in Hawaii.

The photo is very artsy and I can see it as a background photo to be honest with you. And while it doesn't give us much in the way of details, it is cool to see.

Pirates Of The Caribbean: On Stranger Tides - Depp On Set!

We knew already that Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides is filming. We knew that Johnny Depp was ready to put on the Captain Jack Sparrow costume again and play everyone's favorite Pirate.

And now, we have the first photos from the set that actually show Depp in the clothes that make him the character.

It's still only a little look, but it's a start.

Fingers are crossed that there are more photos soon. Maybe some with Ian McShane and Penelope Cruz will come next time. That would be cool.

For now, take a look at Captain Jack and get ready for what comes next.

Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides - New Info!

Ahoy there!

While we already had some of the story information from Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides, we now have a few more thanks to a press release from Disney.

On Stranger Tides does indeed revolve around the search for the Fountain of Youth. But it's how that adventure begins that we now know.

It seems that Angelica (Penelope Cruz) finds our beloved Captain Jack Sparrow and rekindles an old relationship between the 2 of them. But Captain Jack does have concerns about her motives. It turns out that his concerns are valid as she forces him onto the Queen Anne's Revenge and into the hands of Blackbeard (Ian McShane).

It looks like it's Blackbeard that initiates the search for the Fountain of Youth and Captain Jack is only on the quest because he's forced there. I have a feeling that his compass is going to play a big role in things.

Also, it says in the press release that Astrid Bergès-Frisbey's character is turned into a mermaid, so she wasn't one to begin with. Which leaves Gemma Ward as the original mermaid maybe?

I'll keep my ear to the ground for more information as it becomes available.

And now that we know filming has started we might be able to track down more photos sooner than later.

Pirates Of The Caribbean: On Stranger Tides - News And Set Photos!

Folks, I’ve got news.

First, it has been confirmed that Gemma Ward is joining the cast of Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides, just like we reported.

Secondly, Ms. Ward and French beauty Astrid Bergès-Frisbey will be playing mermaids in the flick. There’s no news yet about how they will fit into the story, but mermaid legend makes them out to be trouble makers and seductresses, so I would bet on some sort of interference being run by them while either Captain Jack or Blackbeard or both are trying to get to the Fountain of Youth.

Third on the docket, the first photos from the set of Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides have been found on the internet. There are 3 photos so far, not super exciting, but proof that the movie is being made as we speak. And these photos bring hope that there will soon be others showing more.

So, take a look at the 3 photos and think about Captain Jack being seduced by a mermaid while also having Angelica (Penelope Cruz) as his love interest.

Add Aussie Gemma Ward to the cast of Pirates Of The Caribbean: On Stranger Tides.

I haven't seen what part she will be playing. But I'm sure that she'll either be a pirate or a damsel in distress of some sort.

On Stranger Tides is going to have a great cast and looks to be another success story for the Disney franchise.
